Boatwright Cottage is a recently renovated ,two bedroom cottage in Albert Street, just off Harbour St, in the heart of Whitstable's historic centre. Whitstable, on the Kent coast, is just over an hour from London and 7 miles from the medieval cathedral city of Canterbury.
Boatwright Cottage is a completely renovated Victorian terraced house, with new kitchen and bathroom and all the appliances you would expect. It has a mix of traditional and modern features, bare floorboards and quality Juncker flooring, Victorian bedsteads, chandeliers and crisp white walls.
There are two double bedrooms upstairs and one sofa bed downstairs. As well as the front living room, there is an open plan kitchen with dining area and a television snug area. Outside, there is a small garden with decking in which to relax, eat or dry your beach kit.
This cottage is ideal for exploring all that Whitstable has to offer - independent shops, restaurants, the harbour, the Whitstable Yacht Club, stunning sunsets and of course the beach - none of which is more than a 2 minute walk away.
Boatwright Cottage has a comfy front room with a leather sofa and 60s style arm chairs .This sofa is also a bed ,and the room can be separated for privacy and used as a third bedroom area.
At the back of the house, the open plan kitchen, dining area and snug have a light feel, with Velux windows and modern glazing and back door opening up to the garden. The snug has a Smart TV and Freeview Satellite and Wi-Fi throughout. There is a tidy little downstairs toilet at the bottom of the stairs.
The grey painted stairs lead to the two first floor double bedrooms, calm in white with tranquil soft furnishings, chandeliers and warm Juncker floors.
The contemporary bathroom in white, grey and black has a shower above the bath and a warming towel rail.
Outside, the enclosed garden has decking on which to relax, with a back gate to the alley and road, Chairs, table and sun canopy are provided.
Departure and arrival times usually 11.00am and 3.00pm but flexible on request.
Short breaks are available throughout the year, except in School Holidays. Minimum 2 nights: £100-£130/night weekdays/low season, and £120-£150/night weekends/high season.
