Bowline is a beautifully restored Victorian 1 bedroom apartment situated in the heart of Whitstable's famous Harbour Street. Whitstable, on the North Kent Coast, is just over an hour from London and 7 miles from the medieval cathedral city of Canterbury.
The owners have cleverly blended classic Victorian fundamentals with a great splash of contemporary style and modern appliances.
The colourful and stylish living area and large kitchen diner make this the ideal place for exploring all that Whitstable has to offer - independent shops, eateries, the harbour, the Whitstable Yacht Club, stunning sunsets and of course the beach - none of which is more than a 2 minute walk away.
It is situated above The Whiting Post, Whitstable's premier fashion boutique.
Bowline is the sister apartment to Bunting, situated in the same building. Both Bunting and Bowline are available to rent as a pair,subject to availability.
A lovely second floor apartment,with wonderful glimpses of distant ships in the Channel and of higgledy piggledy Kent peg tile roofs .The well appointed and stylish kitchen leads into the living & dining area ;the dining table seats four and there is a large,comfortable sofa bed in the lounge area.
The bathroom has a fabulous roll top bath, WC, Basin and enclosed shower cubicle.
The galley kitchen is well equiped ,with plenty of workspace to get creative with our local seafood delicacies.
The lounge/diner has a light,uncluttered feel,with lots of sash windows and a big,comfortable sofa,white paintwork and Juncker wood floor.
The small courtyard,shared with the sister apartment Bunting,is a pleasant place to have breakfast in the sun.
Parking is free and unrestricted in this and adjacent streets.There is also a short stay car park 1 minutes walk away,and a longer stay car park 5 minutes walk away.
Departure and arrival times usually 11.00am and 3.00pm, but flexible on request. Linen & towels are included.
Short breaks are available throughout the year except July & August. Minimum 2 nights: £110/night low season and £120/night high season.
